I visited stormy New England over the holidays this year, and got just what I expected....plus more! First it snowed over a foot (we had a white Christmas), and then, before New Year's the rain came in and washed it all away! Of course, after living in Southern California for three years, I was not dressed appropriately for the occasion (while packing, I can never seem to imagine just how chilly it gets). Miraculously, I seemed to do just fine with what I'd brought! Much thanks to doubling up on scarves, and sometimes, sneaking leggings underneath my jeans!
