I am on a skirt kick this week! This one I picked up last minute while shopping in London, and it has been one of my best purchases- isn't that always the way. ;) I am fully playing by the new rules with this look and pairing black with navy and I love it! I also love my yellow watch which was a "welcome to New York!" gift from my bf...ahhh, yes- it was very sweet. :)
The Tods bag has also been one of my best purchases- it is a great everyday bag and even fits my lap top for when I am travelling. Tada!
Today I logged on to Glamour.com's top 20 styles by the top 20 most stylish people bit that they have going on. Today's topic: brights for fall. Translation: day-glow pieces! Thank God I love this trend and was already sporting my neon orange Nooka watch (so good I had to get two!). I also brought in this brilliant navy patent bag by Tory Burch- which contrasted nicely with the orange. The rest of the outfit is neutral and easy. ;)
At the beginning of the summer I went to a boutique in East London called Public Beware! I snagged a couple of amazing and original pieces that are by up-and-coming designers. On my way out, they packaged everything up in this awesome gold bag and sent me on my way. Now, I use it as a day bag when I want a bit more room and something fun. :)
It is a precarious time of year- one day it feels like winter and the next it is summer again! For a nice day out walking in the Meatpacking District with friends from out of town, this outfit was perfect. I have actually worn out these Calvin Klein flats walking all over- they are so comfortable!
