Cookie Monster!
Nevermind my boring outfit, look how perfect my cookies turn out! And I never ever, EVER do anything in the kitchen...I just don't have that domestic gene in me; but these cookies might prove otherwise.

I went upstate this weekend. (I'm waiting outside of Grand Central Station before catching my train) Lucky for me and my BF, our friends have a wonderfully cute little A-frame house in the woods on a rocky bluff. We never know what a trip up there might bring us-sometimes it's hiking around waterfalls and forest trails, other times it's indoors playing monopoly all night long. This is why I chose to go with this kinda easy rugged get-up. The new cowboy booties allow me to kick up some dirt and have fun in the woods, or they're fine for just hanging out and having fun with friends.
Went to the Brooklyn Flea on Saturday-took my new bike for it's inaugural ride. (later proceeded to crash into a street sign for no good reason at all), but check out my sweet flea market purchase! Thats' right....vintage Bon Jovi Clock for only $20!!! Great day indeed!!!
That's the World Famous WONDER WHEEL in my photo! I went down to Coney Island last Thursday evening for a FREE concert. There was no way I was going to pass up two of my favorites of all time on one stage: Blondie and Pat Benatar!!!!! Oh, seriously.....if you had the opportunity to go to a free concert to see two style icons from yesterday: Debbie and Pat, wouldn't you jump at the chance?
It rained all day and I just wanted to be comfy, yet not slobby. I then ran home in the rain to get to the movies in time-saw Inglorious Basterds and it was great!
woke up early last saturday, didn't want to fully get ready for the day because it was only 10:00am. And, wiht the rain, who cares? I threw on a hat which is totally unlike me, just some mascara, and I was on my way to get my stuff taken care of.
After this weekend (Labor Day), it's the unofficial start to Fall, the end of summer! Yippee! I'm so a FALL person, summer is not my thing. And that means I can start busting out all my turtlenecks! I love love love 'em. No one else seems to dig them as much as I.
Boo! Thumbs down to laundry day. At least I made it a bit more sparkly in this awesome $4.90 H&M sweater! That's right folks, $4 freakin .90! I found it about 2 years ago, sometime shortly after Xmas. I'm assuming it was a "holiday" sweater, but I think it's cute enough for everyday! http://wildasamink.blogspot.com
I got this new jacket the other day when I walked into H&M...I certainly love the pop of color in an otherwise basic outfit. http://wildasamink.blogspot.com
