This is what I wore to a Fall Out Boy concert... I thought there were going to be seats, but think again... jejeje. I had to sit on the grass while in this dress. No need to say that my tights ended up with holes all around them.... lol :)

I actually really like this outfit. I felt super chic walking around the mall with my floral jacket and my black tights... jejeje. I also decided to add a black flower hair clip in my hair to go with the floral jacket.
I didnt realize how pale I look in this pic until now... lol. Well, I wore this outfit on a weekend trip to New York. In this particular day, me and my boyfriend were going to go see the Statue of Liberty for the first time. Gotta love NYC!
I'm really dissapointed in the lighting of this photo! You really cant see what they outfit looks like at all. The little jacket is actually purple, not black; and the jeans are not thaaaat dark, they are more like a greyish black. Oh well, it takes time to come up with outfits so I just posted the pic anyway!... jejeje
I am very pleased with my outfit today for two reasons. First, I usually never pair coral with this purple/blue color but I actually really really like how it turned out. Second, this is the first time I wear this lovely scarf my boyfriend bought me in NYC so that makes me feel special :)
Here is the living proof that a t-shirt can look stylish if worn properly. My mom brought me this tee from Curacao when she went on a cruise. I felt special all day wearing this knowing that she thought of me when she bought it. The extra cool thing about this tee is that it changes colors when the sun hits it!! awesome!
I love how purple and blue look together because they are "cool hues". I felt very feminine in this outfit because of the skirt, but edgy at the same time because of the rocker scarf and purse. Plus, I decided to wear this purple collar shirt as a jacket instead because it fits me sorda tight now ...jejeje, too many brownies! :)
This is what I wore for a Dave Mathews Concert!! I wanted to wear something sorda rock yet feminine at the same time... So I picked a very feminine purple peacock dress and paired it with a vest and "jacskon" hat to make it edgier.. I felt pretty cool in this outfit really, and the concert was fantastic!!!
Sometimes I just feeling like making a bold statement by wearing two strong colors together... Although this blue and coral are both demanding attention, I feel that they go really good together and make the outfit interesting. I decided to add the stripped belt just to add a pattern to the outfit. It was a pretty and happy outfit for a day at the Inner Harbor.
I looove the shape of this top because its an "eat-whatever-you-want" top. No matter how much you eat during the day, it will never show in this loose top! jajaja. So, in celebration of this special feature I went to Chipotle and ate a HUGE burrito... jejeje, and nobody noticed the huge tummy I due to my fullness! jaja. Overall, this is just a comfy Sunday outfit to do grocery shopping and to relax.
Happy Birthday to me!!!! Weeeee!!! Have you ever dreamed of what a perfect day could be like? Well for me, today was better than my wildest dreams! As I said before, my parents came to visit me all the way from Panama just as a birthday treat! WAO!!! I am so happy, I feel like I'm glowing! By far, the BEST birthday I ever had!
This is me and my mother (now you know where I learned all my styling!). I love the way she combines her clothes perfectly. As we can see here, she is focusing on doing a red and black combo, which always looks super chic. The patterned shoes and purse is the pattern that makes the outfit that much more interesting. She looked great! As for me, I wanted to be sorda daring since I can get away with it being my birthday and all... sooooo I decided to wear these bright pink tights for the first time! I was feeling pretty far out today, but in a good way. Such a perfect day!
Here is a close up of our outfits. As you can sorda see, my mom's blouse has a beautiful ruffle detail on the neckline which makes it look feminine and interesting. I also loved that she belted the top so it looked modern and chic as well. In my case, I worked off the pink parts of the peacock feathers in the dress to pull off these bright pink tights. I know it looks sorda funky, but I felt like a million bucks, and that's what matters right? :)
Another rainy day today, but I'm still feeling bright and happy. Today was actually a very very very cold day, to my surprise. So I decided to buy myself a nice cup of caramel coffee. I usually dont drink coffee, but I just love walking in the rain sipping a nice warm cup of coffee... it was truly magical. Good thing I decided to layer today, if not I would have frozen to death... jeje. I really like how the sleeves of my white collar shirt peek out of my jean jacket.
I'm feeling like a fall preppy school girl in this outfit! I decided I wanted to wear my blue tights today and once again be a "happy alien" (as the last time I wore them, people stare at me as if I am an alien, but I am a happy one!). I decided to make the tights the main focus, so I kept the rest of the outfit neutral yet interesting. I also decided to tie the blue scarf around my purse just to give it an extra something. www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
Here is a close-up of the pattern of my dress and the color of my tights (bright, I know!). I really like how the blues in the scarf pull the outfit together a little more. I think it adds something special to the outfit. www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
I felt pretty rockin in this outfit! I know there is a whole lot of blue, but thats sorda the point :) It was a beautiful day full of adventures and fun things to do. Even the weather was nice, so I spent some time blowing dandelions with my boyfriend while I made my wished... yeah, silly I know :) www.thejoyoffashion.blogpsot.com
I felt like a walking candy wearing this! So bright and colorful! I personally have always dreamed of candyland, a world made of candy? I'm in!! Anyway, I thought the pink tights went well with the little pink stripes in this plaid dress. It made me happy all day as I though of candyland! www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
I felt so school chic in this ensemble today! I decided that wearing just red, black, and white wasnt enough for my colorful taste, so I threw a blue in there as well. I think the end result looks polished and feminine, at least I felt great in it! www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
I realized it was raining this day and came up with this outfit at the last minute. I was trying to make something that would go with the rain boots, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. That day was great because I spent most of the night watching girl movies and bonding with my roommate.. good times! www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
I got splashed by a car in the rain today! I was soaked from head to toe, and the truth is that all I could do was laugh. No use in getting angry about something I cant change, so I just rather laugh and make a joke out of it. I really like my outfit today, specially since I am wearing these purple tights for the first time. www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
I went to a cool Masquerade Ball today! It was fun to see people wearing colorful feathered masks. I really like how these blue leggings look with this dress. I added the chunky white jacket to keep me warm and the black belt to cinch my waist. More at my blog: www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
This was one of the first all-nighters I pulled in years! I didn't get a chance to sleep since I had to study so much for finals. In terms of the outfit, I really love the contrast of the cute floral dress with the rough motorcycle jacket. More at my blog: www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
This is what I wore to an evening of adventure in the Inner Harbour discovering all sorts of Christmas decorations. It was so beautifully inspiring to see all the Christmas lights and gingerbread houses! Nothing like the Christmas spirit! More at my blog: www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
I don't tend to wear my outfits completely matching, but today I couldn't resist! I really like the glamorous feel of this outfit while remaining fun and youthful. More at my blog: www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
Today I went to NYC for the day with my boyfriend! It was sooo much fun! Since I was going to the big apple, I wanted to wear something chic and sleek. Sooo this is what I came up with! More at my blog: www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
Last night we received SO much snow! it was Incredible!! Everything was completely jammed up with snow. So, I decided to wear a bright colored outfit to contrast the white snow :) More at my blog: www.thejoyoffashion.blogspot.com
