I think this is my favorite skirt to recycle and reuse. A score!- I picked it up while thrifting at Buffalo Exchange, but the skirt is Gap label. Today I wore the skirt underneath a T shirt dress from Express. The scarf is a gift for my sister, who picked it up in a Newport boutique while she was going to school at Salve Regina, in Rhode Island. On my feet are Isaac Mizrahi for Target heels.

I bought this skirt because it reminds me of the expressionist paintings I viewed while on vacation at the Louvre. It's a fun challenge to find a good match for this high waist, multi colored skirt! My dream pairings, I think, would be green or yellow heels, but alas, I own neither. Maybe soon you will see me rocking this skirt with a bit more flair.

Accessorizing for winter in southern California is a different project than for those who live in the wintry northern states!
It's still a mite chilly here (depending on the day), but I try to keep my clothing and accessories winter themed in color and in style!
I wore my white pashmina for warmth, my patterned scarf for style. I love the blocky pattern of the scarf contrasted with the more detailed patterned of my black and gold tights from We Love Colors.
The bright teal dress is a nice palette, in my mind, for the neutral accessories.
