this uniqlo skirt is part of my 'weekend uniform'- it's too short for work, but i wear it at least 1 weekend day because i love it so much. it has pockets that i like to fill with candy, and also pleats that hide my stomach. what more does a gal want?
i am so very in love with this balenciaga dress. i got it at the barney's warehouse sale a few years ago and wear it any chance i get (on this night, dinner at peter lugers was the excuse to wear it). it's the only dressy dress i own. it's actually very simple looking on the hanger, but it's just beautifully tailored, fits like a glove, and the silk is so soft...ahh... i am also in love with the idea of wearing fur in warm-ish weather when it really doesn't make sense. it makes me think of edie from grey gardens. my friend may kashahara (left) was wearing a killer outfit that night- dvf shawnessey dress, the prettiest louboutin shoes i've ever seen, and her sapin balenciaga day bag. i hope to steal all of these items from her in due time. theowlsarenotwhattheyseem.tumblr.com
