That’s how I would describe this outfit: Parisian because the scarf is actually a famous Toulouse Lautrec painting and WASP because, well, the pearls, scarf and salmony-orange blouse with the khaki-colored pants kinda make me look like I live in the Connecticut burbs, not that there’s anything wrong with that might I add!
I woke up grumpy, tired and totally uninspired this morning and stood in front of my closet for a long while before coming up with this outfit. It was definitely a struggle, but I love that I was finally able to do something different with this jacket. It’s one of my mom’s from the 70’s and even though it’s a bit big, I love it and am always trying to find new ways to style it up for the office.
