Usually I don't wear pieces from the same store, head to toe. But I stocked up on basics at Ann Taylor Loft (cardigans, pencil skirts, and cute hats are basics to me!) and found some classic, not-too-trendy pieces that work for the office and the classroom. And since my part-time work takes me to those places and more, I need "transitional" clothes like these. Form, function, and fashion, all in one!
I roused myself out of bed and threw this outfit on with items I'd recently purchased for work. My beauty tip for getting perfectly kohl-rimmed eyes? First draw thin dots along your lash line with black pencil; smudge with your pinkie; add a swipe of black powdered shadow to lock the dark shade in; seal the pencil and powder together by tracing over your work with a wet Q-tip. The make-up will stay all day, I swear, even in humid weather; it was hot today, and in this pic I'd been wearing the eyeliner for a good twelve hours already!
