Long Summer Days
I'm not sure what summer days were like before I had a long, comfy skirt like this one, but I'm pretty sure they were missing something. I think I might be living in this skirt this summer, for serious.

I'm pretty obsessed with my new Topshop blazer and intend to wear it constantly for the rest of the summer. My favorite thing about it is its muted navy color - kind of adds subtlety to the sequins.
These shorts were originally capri pants, which I thought I'd never wear again and had bagged up for the thrift store, but the other day I was feeling rather productive and thought they might make nice shorts and so I lopped them off. I can't say I'm displeased with the results. I'm looking forward to fraying them a bit in the wash, too. Oh and the cardigan I uncovered recently at the thrift store and just about died that it hadn't been snapped up yet. Score!
I went absolutely bonkers at H&M the other day. I can't get over how many amazing Fall pieces they have for under the $50 mark. I even saw a few things on my way out the door which have been haunting my dreams since I left. These snake print jeans were in the H&M Fall "magazine" and I marked a giant star next to them the moment I laid eyes upon them, so I guess it was meant to be. However, they fit so much better than I would have expected. I might even go out on a limb and say they rival the fit of my much-loved J Brands... More on my blog www.districtofchic.com
