Blue Steel
These leggings are so amazing! Seriously, the fabric feels like it woven by elves or something.

My mom bought this blazer for me eons ago and I refused to wear it, because I deemed it "uncool." I unearthed it recently and of course I love it now. Glad I didn't trash it!
I've been having so much fun playing around with all my old American Indian jewelry lately. The bolo tie is actually my husband's, but I think it makes for a fabulous necklace. I've been pretty obsessed with the spring Givenchy western tuxedo style looks and this was one of my ways of interpreting those.

So I'll get to the point: the boots and leggings are old, the boot bling is from a neato western store B and I stopped at last weekend, and the top is from the Weardrobe Closet. It's a great opportunity to "try it before you buy it" and I think I might be needing one of these tops in gray...
This is my rainy day, lounging outfit. I'm in love with this incredible sweater/robe hybrid thing. Kind of feel like it needs to be accessorized with a dry martini and a cigarette holder. www.districtofchic.com
I have a confession to make: I'm not usually a huge fan of leopard print. I do enjoy touches of it, but I haven't been able to bring myself to actually purchase a piece for my own. This all changed the day I saw this incredible robe thing in a vintage shop in New Orleans. I feel like the particularly tacky rendition of the leopard print, combined with the red leaf design that could easily be mistaken for flames, not to mention 100% nylon composition make this a piece I can wear again and again. I also suspect I will serve me well when I'm a crazy old lady living with my many many cats. www.districtofchic.com
