Black turtleneck, black pants, black riding boots + ____ (in this case, my favorite asymmetrical tweed blazer purchased in london) = suzanne staple.
When Keiko Lynn said that she had made a dress especially for weardrobe, I couldn't wait to see it. And, when I got it in the mail and tried it on...I immediately fell in love. I'm not usually a "dress person," but this was hands down the most comfortable dress that I have ever worn. AND, it cinches in all the right places. I'm sad to send it on the next girl to remix, but alas, at least I got to try it on...and I look forward to receiving it back in the mail in time.
It keeps on raining in palo alto! I guess it gives me a good reason to wear boots everyday, which is what I would do anyway :) New thrifted dress, adding color to my otherwise color-less closet!
In reference to linen, which is one of my favorite things to wear since it allows for more movement, BUT you always look like a crumpled sheet of paper by the end of the day ;)
I'm pretty sure that I have a picture of myself when I was 5 wearing a blue dress dancing, so this brings back old memories. This new dress is from pixie market when I visited nyc. It's pretty darn comfortable, so I'll probably be wearing it all the time with a variation of tights and boots.
