what: i snagged tickets to the fashion for action charity event (how? i won them!) hosted by marc jacobs at the rubin museum - the event wasn't anything to write home about, but it was a great opportunity to rock out my new boots- my boyfriend didn't love my last attempt, but we're both fawning over this try :)

when: 1 december 2008 what: day of classes and studying why: i'm in finals mode for the next 3 weeks, which means i officially couldn't care less about what i'm wearing- i just need to be warm and comfortable- so voila! also, check out the primary & neutral color scheme: yellow turtleneck, blue sweater, red nails - brown boots, gray jeans, gray/brown bag, tan belt
take 2 why: i haven't been able to get enough of this sweater lately, i'm glad it was worth the investment, i spent $30 on it, and if you know me, it takes a lot to get me to spend that much on one piece- i generally have a $20 ceiling
