Thus far I have visited 17 charity shops in Eastbourne. One. Seven. Yes, this tiny town is crammed full with them. Essentially, it's my dream come true.
Today was a day spent wandering the streets of Brighton. We strolled up the pier and down the laneways for hours. And the weather, oh the weather! It was so warm in the sun that I was even able to remove my jacket without getting frostbite in my arms (right, might be exaggerating a little, but it has been very cold of late).
Yesterday I was visited by the most gigantic and flat-faced ginger cat that has ever existed. He was like Garfield but real and more awesome and nowhere near as unfunny as I hear the film is. www.owlandthegrapes.blogspot.com
So it's been over 24 hours since I came back from my half a week in London and I'm pretty sure I'm having big city withdrawals because I'm super tired and cranky as all hell. All that sweat, smoke, pollution and undergrounding is disgusting and awesome at the same time. Not unlike seeing a lamb being born, which I was privilaged/cursed with seeing last week.

The sun is OUT again! Well, yes, there is the whole gail force winds thing but unless you're on a ferry/anywhere unsheltered, who the hell cares? It's blue outside! The glasses are a present from my lovely housemate Dom, the red jacket and top are both from a local pay-by-the-kilo op shop, leggings are from Primark, the cassette necklace I made myself using an op shopped cassette tape, the watch is from Paddys market (it was my birthday present from the boyfriend) and the shoes you should all know by now (from a Sydney vintage store).
