I ride my razor scooter every single day from the parking lot to my college. Sometimes when it’s freezing, I stop to this vent along the way at a bank that blows out hot air that smells like a pool! I love it. I just thought of that when I was dressing up today. Does anybody else ever get fashion inspiration from a scent? Hahah. I think I might be crazy. Anyway, in other huge news. I’ve been featured on who what wear’s november’s style stalker article! I nearly had a heart attack when I saw it! I wasn’t even expecting it, at all. I’m just so overjoyed with the positive feedback I’ve gotten from blogging.. and especially from all of you chictopians. Amazing girls. Love you all! Read the entire article on whowhatwear.com! :)
i bought this dress on etsy a while back, but the hem is quite long in a most unflattering way. since my skills with circle skirts aren't so great, i decided to pin this up for a more deconstructed look and ended up turning my coco avant chanel inspired dress into a little grunge outfit. oh, experimentation! http://calivintage.blogspot.com

I love this blazer, it's one of my favorite TjMaxx finds, one of those treasures that catches your attention just before you leave the store empty handed- peeking out from a cluttered rack. Maybe that's setting the scene a little too dramatically, but the fit alone sold me on this jacket instantly. I love the fabric too, it's perfect with jeans and a tee-shirt, anything more and it would be too much. More on my blog! www.orchidgrey.blogspot.com
I was so inspired by Sally Jane Vintage's post about adapting a 60's suit to the items existing in your wardrobe that I did a little remix for this pleated wool skirt (not part of a suit but still the same feel). She of course wears her signature beret with her rendition of this outfit, but my beret is blueberry and just didn't look right. My Cloche is way more my style anyway. Thanks So MUCH Sally Jane!
