Apparently I was feeling very all-american over the weekend and sported my colors! Red, white and blue have a very summery feel to them. Summer in the Hamptons anyone? Since we are still enjoying 90 degree days here in Arizona, it seemed appropriate. The bracelet consists of these great blue pearls that were once my great nana's necklace. I reworked them into this great bracelet with gold, and with an antique looking clasp. Spent the afternoon at an arts festival and then exploring the city for cool places to shoot. This building is about to be torn down. Revolt.

Studding jeans is no easy task, my friends.

This dress is actually floor length, huge, and has long sleeves. My mother in law is going to shop the top off and I'm just going to use the skirt part as a dress hiked up like this. Another blog inspiration, I'm so excited! I love this fabric.

This dress is ripped in a lot of places, but I'm hoping it can be mended, or just worn anyway. If you look closely at my bag you'll see Paco the Alpaca, my new companion from Charleston, SC. This bag makes me so happy-it was only 27 cents in the super bargain bin at Goodwill!
