It was hot and I was drinking iced tea, of course. This was the day after I got my new SLR (Canon of COURSE), and my sister wouldn't stop taking "paparazzi" photos of me. I think that's what she secretly wants to be, a paparazzo. I got her to stop walking for like two seconds to snap this one, which is why my facial expression is gross. Oh well.

I know you guys are sick to death of seeing these shoes, but I'm completely smitten by them. They've practically been glued to my feet ever since I had bought them. I also know that you guys are probably really sick of seeing this Target jacket as well, but it's such a great layering piece, and makes everything look good. I should be going shopping this weekend, hopefully I'll finally hunt down a great faux fur vest!
I had my first "blogger meet up" on Saturday with Laura and Megan of chicfaced. Being able to meet up in person with two local bloggers that I enjoy reading so much was a refreshing experience. We all thought it was funny to be so familiar with someone, but to have never have met them face to face. Anyway, it was interesting to talk about what inspired us to start our blogs, speculate as to who Anna Wintour really is, and marvel at the way the blogosphere has totally dominated fashion week this year. I really love all of the stuff going on in this dress, contrasting colors and prints, the fit, and the material (100% silk). The shoes are an amazing color in real life, and amazingly comfortable. They go suprisingly well together.
I was so excited to be able to finallyyy rock my vintage foil blazer...until I walked outside and it was 80 degrees and humid. Oh.
